She is an adjunct professor at the University of Barcelona Faculty of Philosophy. She has two main areas of research: ethics and the question of foundations (from a deontological, Kantian, and dialogic perspective) and applied ethics (bioethics, the ethics of social services and of artificial intelligence). She chairs the Ethics Committee of the Catalan Department of Social Services (Serveis Socials). She is a board member of the Bioethics Committee of Catalonia, the Committee for Research Integrity of Catalonia, the Committee for Care Ethics, and the Ethics Committee for Research with Medicinal Products, both at Hospital Clínic of Barcelona.
